Customised Programmes & Partnerships
Sterling Campus is committed to serving as a resource to the Body of Christ in the area of faith-life integration and worldview formation. We can work with you to tailor a variety of programmes, such as:
-
Camps
-
Retreats
-
Staff & lay leader training (new pastors, Sunday school and other ministry staff/volunteers, interns, etc.)
-
Speaking engagements (church services, marketplace ministries, panels, forums, etc.)
Examples of partnerships and customisations we have been engaged for:
Finding Your Place | Methodist Church Chinese Annual Conference Board of Youth Ministry
FYP is a 3-month discipleship programme that seeks to holistically equip young people, ages 18 to 35, to live all of life coram Deo (before the face of God). It aims to prepare those waiting to go to university, fresh grads, or those in-between jobs for the reality of life in God’s kingdom by equipping with the intellectual, moral, and spiritual foundations needed to flourish wherever God calls. More details can be found at https://cacboym.org/
Faith and Life Track | St Andrew's Cathedral
Our scope was to support the development of faith-life integration within their community. This included conducting courses in the new Faith and Life Track within their Christian Education department, as well as supporting the launch of their faith and life podcast (https://cathedral.org.sg/podcast). We also worked with one of their service pastors to provide a year-long faith-life integration training for some of their leadership core.
Camp Oasis Campus Ministry Camp | Church of Our Saviour
We spearheaded a new way of doing camp for university students by turning the teaching portions of the camp into times of deep learning and discussion on topics related to campus life. Participants were required to read articles prior to the sessions and discuss them in groups. Training was provided for small-group leaders prior to the camp.
Thinking Cells Small Group Material | Faith Community Baptist Church
We helped to run 10 cell-group sessions with a leaders’ cell group, covering topics such as God and math, creation care, the church in a secular state and social justice. Each session was 1.5 hours long and held in the cell leader’s home.
Christian Teachers’ Training | Wesley Schools, Malaysia
We were invited to conduct training in Penang with the Christian teachers under the Wesley schools umbrella. Topics for the 90 teachers included teaching as a calling, integrating faith into every subject, building a Christian ethos in the classroom, and discipline from a Christian perspective.
The list above is not exhaustive. Feel free to email connect@sterling-campus.com to discuss your needs and ideas!
